Why we exist
Built from a moment that almost didn't happen
At a wedding in Wales, a talented painter quietly captured the ceremony as it unfolded. Guests gathered to watch. The couple had a piece of art to take home that no photograph could replicate. It was one of the most memorable parts of the day, and it had nearly not happened at all. Finding the right artist had been genuinely difficult: scattered across social media, inconsistently presented, with no trusted way to compare styles, check availability, or book with confidence.
That gap between couples who wanted this and artists who should be found is what The Wedding Painters was built to close. We created a dedicated platform where the best wedding artists in the UK and USA are presented properly, couples can browse with confidence, and every booking is handled securely in one place.
Since launching we've been shortlisted for the UK StartUp Awards 2026, and earned a 'Great' rating on Trustpilot. More importantly, we've helped couples find artists they would never otherwise have discovered and helped artists build careers doing work they love.

Jack runs everything that touches people — couples, artists, enquiries, and the relationships that make the platform work. He reviews every artist who applies, helps build their listings, and is personally reachable on the platform when anything needs sorting. His background is in customer service, but his real skill is in turning a couple who has never considered wedding art into one who can't imagine their day without it.

Huw Davies Cooke
Co-founder
Huw built the platform — and continues to build it. Every feature, every improvement, and every technical decision that makes The Wedding Painters work in practice is his work. He oversees website design, technical SEO, and the ongoing development of tools that help artists win more bookings and couples book with total confidence.
