3. Talk it through. Your artist goes over your photo, size and price with you before any painting starts.

4. Pay your deposit. You pay your deposit through TheWeddingPainters, and your artist starts work.

5. Watch it come together. Your artist keeps you updated if any decisions come up while they paint.

6. Receive your painting. Once it's finished and paid for, your painting is shipped to you, signed and ready to hang or frame.

How much does it cost to turn a wedding photo into a painting?

Averi's paintings start from $900. The price depends on the size of the canvas and how much detail goes into the background.

Keepsake, from $900: an 11x14 inch canvas with the two of you and a soft, simple background.

Storybook, from $1,200: an 18x24 inch canvas with up to four people and more of your venue or scenery. This is her most popular size.

Statement, from $1,700: a 24x36 inch canvas with up to four people and your full venue in the background.

Extra people cost from $90 each, and pets from $40 each. If you need your painting by a date, a rush finish costs from $250. Shipping is added to your quote, and you'll see the full price before you pay.

You pay a 30% deposit to start, and the rest when your painting is finished. Payments go through TheWeddingPainters, so your messages and payments stay in one place.

How long does it take?

Averi usually finishes a painting in two to four weeks, depending on the size and any changes, then ships it to you. If you need it by a date, like an anniversary, tell her in your first message. A rush finish is available.
