Years from now, you’ll look at your painting and be right back there: the flowers, the light, the people you love, and the two of you at the center of it all. I paint your wedding live as it unfolds, fast, heartfelt and genuinely fun for your guests to watch, and by the end of the night your day has become a piece of art made to hang in your home for generations.
I’m drawn to color and to the details that make a wedding unmistakably yours: the landscape around your venue, the flowers you chose, the small moments shared with the people who matter most. Every painting is romantic and a little whimsical, and every one is personal.
How It Works
Step 1: Your free consultation
We’ll start with a free consultation to talk through your vision and the moment you’d love captured, whether that’s your first look, your first kiss, your first dance, or something only the two of you would think of. Not sure yet? I’ll help you choose.
Step 2: Setting up
On your wedding day, I arrive ahead of your chosen moment to set up, so I’m ready the instant it happens.
Step 3: Painting live
I paint from direct observation as your day unfolds, capturing your moment in real time. Your guests can drop by, watch your painting take shape, and see the day they’re living appear on the canvas.
Step 4: The evening reveal
Later in the evening, I reveal your painting. It’s a moment of its own, with no posing and no pausing your celebration.
Step 5: Taking it home
Keepsake paintings are finished on the night, ready for you to take home. Larger Signature and Statement pieces may come back to my studio for touch-ups to bring every detail to completion, then ship to your home within two weeks, with regular check-ins along the way.

- Hana is based in San Antonio, Texas, and available across the US. Travel is factored into your quote.
Cancellation & Refund Policy▼
A minimum 25% deposit is required to secure your date. If your wedding is cancelled more than 60 days before your event date, your deposit is refundable. Within 60 days of your event, the deposit becomes non-refundable. If your wedding is postponed rather than cancelled, we're happy to work with you to move your painting to the new date, subject to availability.
If flights have already been booked for your event, the cost of those flights will be deducted from any deposit refund.

You're booking your artist directly. TheWeddingPainters connects you with independent artists, and once you confirm your booking, your contract sits directly with the artist you've chosen. We handle the booking process and payment on their behalf, so everything stays effortless and in one place from enquiry to wedding day.
Why should I pay through TheWeddingPainters instead of paying my artist directly?
Paying through TheWeddingPainters keeps your deposit and payments secure, your agreement recorded in one place, and our team on hand to step in if anything about the booking needs sorting out.
If you pay your artist privately, by bank transfer or PayPal, outside our system, we lose visibility of that payment and our ability to help. That matters most in the moment you'd need us: if there's a dispute, or your artist doesn't turn up on the day.
Keeping everything on-platform is what lets us actually protect your wedding day, not just process it.
What should I do if my artist asks me to pay them directly (bank transfer, PayPal, etc.)?
TheWeddingPainters is a booking platform – we help you and your artist keep the booking and payments clearly recorded. If payments happen privately, they won't appear in our system and it may limit how much we can assist if anything needs to be checked later.
If you ever feel unsure or pressured, please contact us and we'll take a look.
Will I lose any protection if I pay outside TheWeddingPainters?
If you pay your artist directly (for example by separate bank transfer, PayPal or cash), those payments won't show in your TheWeddingPainters booking record.
That means:
- We can't see what was paid, when, or on what terms
- It can be harder for us to help if there's a disagreement about what was included, what's still owed, or whether a refund is due
For that reason, we strongly recommend keeping all payments for your booking within TheWeddingPainters, where we process payments on your artist's behalf and keep a clear record for both of you.
