Vibrant Live Wedding Painting by Gagan

Most wedding paintings aim for stillness. Mine are built for energy.

My background is in animation, and after eight years of creating bespoke artwork for clients across the UK, that's exactly what shapes my style — vibrant, modern, and full of character. Every painting is created entirely by hand and tailored to your story, capturing the day with the same sense of movement and life it actually had.

I only take on a limited number of weddings each year, so every couple I work with gets the time, attention, and creativity their day deserves. What you receive isn't just a memory of the day — it's an investment in a piece that holds the energy of it, made to last for generations.

How it works

Step 1 — Your consultation

Before the wedding, we'll talk through your vision — the moment you'd like captured, your style preferences, and any details that matter most to you, so the painting feels completely your own.

Step 2 — Live painting on the day

I paint live, on site, using museum-grade materials — Winsor & Newton oils and acrylics on stretched linen canvas that I prepare and stretch by hand myself. Your guests watch the piece come together in real time, right there in the room.

Step 3 — Studio refinement

After the wedding, I add further detail and refinement in the studio — every package includes this step, ensuring the finished piece reaches its full depth and detail.

Step 4 — Secure delivery

Your finished painting is delivered to you securely, ready to hang.

Choosing your paint

Acrylic — bold, vibrant, and quick-drying, acrylic gives you a beautiful, detailed painting with a satin varnish finish built to last. The industry standard, and a brilliant choice for couples who want striking colour and clarity.

Heirloom Oil — the top-tier option. Oil's slower drying time allows for more layers of colour and depth, giving the painting a timeless, classic quality that's traditionally handed down through generations. It's varnished with a specialist medium and made using only refined linseed oils — no thinners or turpentine — making it an eco-friendly choice as well as a beautiful one.

Packages

Acrylic — 16 × 20" — £850

Best for: couples who want a vibrant, detailed painting at a more accessible size and price point.

Acrylic — 20 × 30" — £975

Best for: couples who want more presence on the wall while keeping the bold, vivid finish of acrylic.

Heirloom Oil — 16 × 20" — £1,250

Best for: couples drawn to the depth and richness only oil can give — a classic, generational piece in a versatile size.

Heirloom Oil — 20 × 30" — £1,375

Best for: couples who want the full heirloom experience — maximum depth, richness, and scale, in the medium built to be passed down.

All packages include live, on-site painting, a pre-wedding consultation, post-wedding studio refinement, and secure delivery of your finished piece.

Additions

Want to include family members or a beloved pet in your portrait?
