Couple-Focused Photorealistic Live Wedding Portrait

A live wedding portrait is a rare kind of luxury: one carefully chosen moment, painted as your day unfolds, part refined entertainment, part heirloom artwork created to live with you for decades.

While photographers capture thousands of images and videographers craft highlight reels, a painting becomes something more intimate — a single moment, immortalised in brushstrokes, with the focus held firmly on you as a couple.

My style is photorealistic and couple-focused. I don’t paint guests or busy, detailed backdrops; instead, I create an elegant portrait that honours true likeness and celebrates connection, with a soft, romantic background that keeps all attention on the two of you.

How it works

1) Capturing (your vision, your moment)

On the day, I capture my own reference images in line with your vision — and you’ll always have the final say on which image I use for your painting.

2) Sketching (the portrait begins to appear)

During your drinks reception, you and your guests will see your portrait start to come to life — it becomes a quiet, beautiful talking point as the day flows around it.

3) Painting (live experience)

After a short break, I begin painting and blocking out the main elements of your portrait. Guests are welcome to interact, film, and photograph the process.

4) The grand reveal

When your portrait is fully formed, I’ll invite you both to a grand reveal (photographers love this part too). I then carefully pack up and take your painting back to the studio.

After your day: studio refinement, approval, framing & delivery

Refining: This is where the depth and detail is added using reference photos from your day.

Confirming: You’ll be sent a digital image to check you’re fully happy.

Framing: Choose from 6 frame options (included for free), with every painting double mounted. I use a trusted local framer so your piece arrives ready to hang.

Delivering: If you live within 50 miles of my studio, I’ll hand deliver at a time convenient to you. For couples further afield, I use a tracked delivery system.

Live packages & pricing (all-inclusive)

All live packages include: up to 8 hours of live painting on your wedding day, professional-grade acrylic paints, canvas-textured heavy-weight paper, studio finishing time, double mounting, a choice of 6 frames, non-reflective Art Glass, a social-media-ready image of your painting, and hand delivery within 50 miles.

Pearl — £1,100 (12 × 16")

Ruby — £1,500 (16 × 20")

Diamond — £1,800 (16 × 20") — includes:

3 hand-painted bottles in your wedding colours (bottles supplied by you)

50 thank you cards featuring your bespoke painting

Two 8×10" double mounted prints (ideal gifts for parents)

Optional additions (available with Pearl or Ruby)

Hand-painted bottles: £30 each

Thank you cards: £100 for 50 (delivered with envelopes)

Additional prints: 12×16" £80 / 16×20" £100 (double mounted; not framed as standard)

If you enquire with your date, venue, and the moment you’re considering (first kiss, confetti, first dance, or a quiet portrait moment), I’ll confirm availability and guide you towards the package that best suits the finished look you want.
