I can't even begin to explain how phenomenal Elizabeth is at what she does. She drew our first kiss live at our wedding in Haworth, and she blew us, and our guests away. I'd booked her as a surprise for my husband (who unfortunately caught onto the fact she was there before the ceremony - not her fault!!) but I don't think I even expected the end result to look as good as it did. I would 100% recommend booking her!

As an award-winning pencil portrait artist based in the West Midlands, I create a high-quality, hand-drawn pencil portrait of your first kiss as a married couple, drawn at your venue throughout your wedding day.
It’s a meaningful keepsake for you, and a beautiful piece of live entertainment for your guests. They can watch the portrait come to life as the day unfolds… but there’s one rule:
Only you (the couple) won’t see it until the end — when it’s complete.
Every package includes 'Thank You' cards with a printed image of your portrait to send to your guests.
When one portrait just isn't enough - Upgrade to The Newlyweds package to receive a second hand-drawn portrait on your first anniversary, The Love Story Package for a third portrait of you guys from when you first met, and The Heirloom Experience package for an additional 3 portraits from your wedding day!
So how does it work?
Step 1: The Ceremony Moment
During your ceremony, I’ll take a reference photo of your first kiss as a married couple (working discreetly so nothing feels interrupted).
Step 2: Live Drawing at Your Venue
After the ceremony, I’ll set up and begin the portrait on-site. Guests can come over and watch the drawing develop throughout the day — it’s always a talking point and a lovely, calm addition to the celebration.
Step 3: The Reveal
Once the portrait is finished, I’ll reveal it to you at the end of the day — a surprise moment just for the two of you, and a piece of artwork you’ll cherish forever.

Due to the medium I use and the time restraints of the day, I cannot offer backgrounds or full-length portraits. If you would like a portrait with a background, or a full-length portrait, I would be more than happy to discuss commissioning a portrait of your favourite photo after your wedding has taken place .
Cancellation & Refund Policy▼
1. Booking and Payment
- 1.1 To secure your date, a non-refundable booking fee of 25% of the total cost is required.
- 1.2 The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before your wedding date.
- 1.3 Failure to pay the balance in full by this deadline may result in the cancellation of your booking, with no refund of the initial booking fee.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- 2.1 The 25% booking fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
- 2.2 If the Client cancels after paying the full balance, no refunds will be issued.
- 2.3 If the wedding is rescheduled, a new 25% non-refundable booking fee will be required to secure the new date. This is subject to the Artist’s availability.
- 2.4 In the unlikely event that the Artist must cancel due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all monies paid will be issued.

3. On-the-Day Conduct
- 3.1 The Artist welcomes guest interaction and is happy to speak with guests who show interest in the work.
- 3.2 However, abuse, harassment, or interference with the Artist’s work will not be tolerated.
- 3.3 If such behaviour occurs, the Artist reserves the right to leave the event and complete the portrait in her studio. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
4. Working Arrangements
- 4.1 The Artist will liaise with the venue and photographer to determine a suitable working location.
- 4.2 During the ceremony, the Artist will be seated behind the officiant or celebrant, to capture a clear photo of the first kiss without encroaching on the service.
- 4.3 The Artist will ensure that her presence is discreet and respectful at all times.
5. Artistic Process and Delivery
- 5.1 Any work not completed at the venue will be finished in the Artist’s studio.
- 5.2 All artwork created on the wedding day will be returned to the studio for professional framing.
- 5.3 The Artist will either personally deliver the finished, framed portrait or ship it by post.
- 5.4 While the artwork will be securely packed, the Artist cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss during transit.
6. Travel Fees
- 6.1 Travel costs are included in the final quote for weddings within a 30-mile radius of Stourbridge.
- 6.2 For venues outside this area, an additional charge of 50p per mile (round trip) will be applied.
- 6.3 All travel-related fees will be included in the final agreed-upon quote.
7. Client Responsibilities
- 7.1 The Client is responsible for providing accurate information, including venue details and timelines.
8. Pricing and Quotes
- 8.1 The Artist reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.
- 8.2 Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- 8.3 Once the deposit has been paid, the quoted price is locked and guaranteed for your event.
9. Artistic Integrity and Final Work
- 9.1 The Artist retains full creative control over the style and composition of the artwork, in line with her professional judgment.
- 9.2 Live portraiture is interpretative and subject to artistic expression; by booking, the Client acknowledges and accepts this.
- 9.3 The Artist may complete finishing details of the portrait in her studio after the wedding day if needed.
10. Intellectual Property and Usage
- 10.1 The Artist retains the copyright of all artwork created.
- 10.2 The Client may display the final artwork for personal use only.
- 10.3 The Artist reserves the right to use images of the artwork for portfolio, marketing, social media, and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Liability
- 11.1 The Artist is not liable for delays or disruptions caused by venue issues, extreme weather, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond her control.
- 11.2 In the event of damage to the artwork after delivery due to mishandling or poor storage by the Client or guests, the Artist is not responsible.
- 11.3 If the Artist is delayed due to circumstances outside of her control (such as traffic accidents or extreme weather), no refund will be issued. However, she will stay later at the venue to make up for the lost time wherever possible.
- 11.4 If the Artist is unable to capture a good photo of the first kiss, or if she arrives too late to witness the ceremony, the couple may be asked to recreate the kiss at a later time during the day, and the Artist will work from that photograph instead.
12. Agreement
- By paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
