Description
I've been painting for over 10 years and know how deeply meaningful it is to bring a vision to life. As an artist, it's beyond rewarding to be trusted to capture one's most cherished moments. A painting that is thoughtfully rendered through texture and color is more than an investment — it's leaving a legacy for generations to enjoy.
I prefer to work in acrylic, which means bolder color and a faster-drying finish — ideal if you want your painting largely complete by the end of the night. My background in landscape painting means I'm especially drawn to weddings with a memorable atmosphere: from stunning architectural backdrops to idyllic gardens, and golden hour light. If your venue has a view, let's paint it into your story!
How It Works
- We match your moment. I'll ask about your vision, preferences, wedding ceremony and reception timeline so we can decide the best window for me to paint live
- I set up and paint. I arrive prior to the event to set up an easel and paint your wedding as it unfolds in front of me — I enjoy interacting with guests while I work!
- Finishing touches. After the wedding, I will take the painting back to my studio to add final touches, details, and make sure everything looks just right! This can take anywhere between 3-5 weeks
- Your piece is delivered. Once the piece is completed, it will either be securely packaged and shipped to your home, or arranged to be dropped off/picked up (depending on location)

- 5-7 hours of live-painting
- 16"x20" stretched canvas
- A personal piece capturing your ceremony or first look/kiss, or any other specific pose
- Colors, lighting, and tones can be requested, including more bright and bold coloring, or more muted and soft etc.
- The live-wedding fee includes travel within 50 miles of Appleton, Wisconsin.
- After the wedding, one reasonable round of minor revisions to details such as color, small objects, or other minor adjustments
- Painting is completed about 3-5 weeks after the wedding date

Scenic Statement Portrait

Travel Line
Alexandra is based in Appleton, Wisconsin and is available across the US, with costs depending on location and booking lead time.

Depending on the location, a custom travel quote may include transportation, airfare, accommodations, rental transportation, and other necessary travel expenses. All travel costs will be discussed and agreed upon in advance of booking.
Cancellation & Refund Policy▼
If the Client cancels: More than 90 days before the wedding: the retainer is 50% refunded, but no additional balance is owed. 30–90 days before the wedding: the retainer is 25% refunded, however any additional non-refundable expenses already incurred by the Artist may also be charged. Less than 30 days before the wedding: the retainer is non-refundable, and any additional expenses incurred by the Artist is also charged (supplies, travel expenses, etc). Client may not be responsible for the full remaining balance depending on circumstances such as illness, emergency, natural disaster, or another circumstance beyond the Client's reasonable control. If the wedding date changes, the Artist will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date. If the Artist is available on the new date, the retainer may be transferred to the new date. If the Artist is unavailable on the new date, the change will be treated as a cancellation and depending on the number of days before the wedding date, and will be managed as stated above.

COPYRIGHT & OWNERSHIP
The completed painting is an original artwork created by the Artist.
Upon full payment, the Client will own the physical original painting.
The Artist retains all copyrights and intellectual property rights to the artwork.
The Client may display the artwork for personal use but may not reproduce, sell reproductions of, commercially license, or otherwise use the artwork for commercial purposes without written permission from the Artist.
REVISIONS & FINAL APPROVAL
The Artist will complete the painting based on the Client’s preferences and the details discussed prior to the wedding. The Client understands that the final painting is an original artistic interpretation and is not intended to be an exact photographic reproduction.
After the wedding, the Artist will provide the Client with a photo of the completed painting for review. The Client may request one reasonable round of minor revisions to details such as color, small objects, or other minor adjustments.
Major changes to the composition, subjects, setting, or overall design are not included in the original service fee. Additional revisions or substantial changes requested after the initial review may be subject to an additional fee, which will be discussed and approved by the Client before any additional work begins.
Once the Client has approved the final painting, or the agreed revision has been completed, the artwork will be considered final.
PHOTOGRAPHY & PORTFOLIO USE
The Artist may photograph or record the artwork during the painting process and after completion.
The Artist may use photographs of the painting, the painting process, and the wedding setting for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, marketing, and other promotional purposes.
The Artist will make reasonable efforts to avoid identifying or prominently featuring wedding guests without permission.
If the Client does not wish for the finished painting to be used for promotional purposes, the Client must notify the Artist in writing before the wedding.
TRAVEL
The live-wedding fee includes travel within 50 miles of Appleton, Wisconsin.
Travel beyond this area may be subject to an additional travel fee, which will be communicated to and approved by the Client before booking.
If overnight accommodations are reasonably required because of the wedding location, those expenses will be discussed with the Client in advance.
