I love capturing the naturally-occurring moments of tenderness between you and your partner, hands held before the vows, the first kiss, an arm around the waist. I pay close attention to the way light falls across your wedding scene, using colour to bring that atmosphere into the painting. Working expressively and impressionistically in acrylics or oils, I centre the two of you in the image, with the background and lighting there to amplify the romance of the moment rather than compete with it.
This isn't a photograph of your day, it's an investment piece, an heirloom that only grows more meaningful with every year it lives in your home. I love being part of your wedding entourage, meeting your guests and chatting with them as they watch the painting take shape throughout the day.
How It Works
Step 1: Planning your painting (before the day)
We'll have a consultation to talk through your vision and the moment you'd like captured — your first kiss, first dance, first look, or a moment of your choosing. If you're not sure, I'll help you decide.
Step 2: On the day (setup)
I arrive ahead of your chosen moment to set up and prepare, so everything is ready the instant it happens.
Step 3: Capturing your moment + painting live
I begin painting live, working from direct observation as your day unfolds, capturing your chosen moment in real time while your guests watch it come to life.
Step 4: Evening reveal
You'll see the painting revealed later in the evening — a proper moment of its own, with no posing or pausing your celebration to check in.
Step 5: Studio finish + delivery
I take the piece for final studio finishing to bring it to full completion, then it's delivered to your home.

Best for: couples who want both a couple-focused artwork to take home on the night, and a second piece capturing a contrasting, celebratory moment from later in the evening such as the first dance, or the energy of the dance floor.
Two paintings, two contrasting moments: one tender and intimate, painted live during your ceremony or early celebrations; the other capturing the joy and energy of your evening festivities, painted afterward from a high-quality reference photo taken on the day, and revealed to you when you return from honeymoon.
