Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, but unlike the months of work and planning put into making your dream day come to life, the day itself can pass in a loving blur or joy and special memories. A post-wedding commission is the perfect way to preserve your special day. It is more than just a portrait, it is a way to immortalise the emotions and atmosphere of your day.

I will create a one of a kind portrait from your favourite photo(s), incorporating all of the hidden little details that set your piece apart from others’ and truly make it yours. By learning your unique story, I will create a timeless piece that will make you relive the magic of your wedding day each time you look at it.

How it works:

Step 1: Send me your favourite photos & your story

Your choice of photo tells the story of your day and is the core foundation of the painting, allowing me to capture the ambiance and emotions of your special day. If you have multiple favourites, I am happy to look through them and advise you on which would have the strongest impact for your piece.

Similarly, if you love the moment in one photo, and the background/details of another, I will seamlessly integrate both photos into your ideal composition,

Alongside the photos I would also love to hear your story behind them. Knowing the details of your special moments will help me capture the emotions and feel of the day, not just the figures and faces,



Step 2: Choosing your style & medium

Alongside your photos, we will also discuss your choice medium and style. I offer both acrylic and watercolour paintings in realistic and stylised art style, and will help you to decide on the perfect style and medium with which to capture the essence of your day perfectly.



Step 3: The studio process

After learning your story and preferences, I will begin to create your piece in the chosen style and medium. I will piece together and refine the final composition with you prior to painting, and will send updates of all of the important steps and progression of your piece.

This is the time ideal time at which I will be able ti make any core changes or additions if you decide on any following the initial discussion and consultation.

Your piece will be completed within 4-6 weeks, depending on size and detail.

Step 4: Final touches & shipping

Once your painting is completed I will get in touch to discuss any any final details to make sure you are completely happy with the piece, and to discuss the best delivery option for you.

Additional Special Touches:

Do you want to include a friend or family member who couldn’t attend, or your special furry friend? I will happily incorporate them into your piece as if they were there the whole time, ensuring your piece has that extra special touch.

• An adult figure at the same level of detail as the main couple - £80
• A child figure at the same level of detail as the couple - £60
• A pet/ additional animals - £50

Extra people in the background with minimal detail can be added at no extra charge.
