If you’re drawn to artwork that feels light, emotional, and full of atmosphere (rather than overly posed or photo-real), my wedding commissions are made for you.
I create impressionistic, minimalist wedding paintings that capture the feeling of your day, the connection, the movement, the energy in the room all distilled into expressive brushstrokes and a timeless composition. It’s a way to preserve your wedding as you remember it: not just what happened, but how it felt.
So how does it work?
Step 1: Choose your moment
Get in touch and we’ll decide which moment you’d love captured; a first dance, a ceremony moment, a portrait together, confetti, a quiet glance… whatever feels most you.
Step 2: Plan the commission
We’ll confirm the details: size, materials, and the style you want (keeping it expressive, minimalist, and full of emotion).
Step 3: Painting + finishing
I’ll create your artwork with my signature expressive approach, focusing on atmosphere and connection so it feels alive on your wall not like a static snapshot.
Step 4: Framing + hanging guidance
Once complete, we’ll discuss framing and hanging options so it’s ready to be displayed and enjoyed for years to come.
If you send an enquiry with your favourite photo(s) and the moment you’d love to preserve, I’ll guide you through the best size and style for the space you want it to live in.

Non-refundable 30% deposit, once painting has been approved there are no refunds available. *Please note, all my commissions are a collaborative process to ensure the couple is happy with their finished painting, so you will receive updates during the painting process.

Important: These are the artist's service-specific terms. The platform's Terms & Conditions always take precedence.
I take an initial 30% deposit. Then I share an image of the painting when it's 85% done to get any feedback. Payment is due upon completion of the painting. I can provide framing upon request.

Why should I pay through TheWeddingPainters instead of paying my artist directly?
Paying through TheWeddingPainters keeps your deposit and payments secure, your agreement recorded in one place, and our team on hand to step in if anything about the booking needs sorting out.
If you pay your artist privately, by bank transfer or PayPal, outside our system, we lose visibility of that payment and our ability to help. That matters most in the moment you'd need us: if there's a dispute, or your artist doesn't turn up on the day.
Keeping everything on-platform is what lets us actually protect your wedding day, not just process it.
What should I do if my artist asks me to pay them directly (bank transfer, PayPal, etc.)?
TheWeddingPainters is a booking platform – we help you and your artist keep the booking and payments clearly recorded. If payments happen privately, they won't appear in our system and it may limit how much we can assist if anything needs to be checked later.
If you ever feel unsure or pressured, please contact us and we'll take a look.
Will I lose any protection if I pay outside TheWeddingPainters?
If you pay your artist directly (for example by separate bank transfer, PayPal or cash), those payments won't show in your TheWeddingPainters booking record.
That means:
- We can't see what was paid, when, or on what terms
- It can be harder for us to help if there's a disagreement about what was included, what's still owed, or whether a refund is due
For that reason, we strongly recommend keeping all payments for your booking within TheWeddingPainters, where we process payments on your artist's behalf and keep a clear record for both of you.
