Hi! Im Hannah, a freelance artist specialising in portraits (of both humans and pets!). I work free-hand, predominantly digitally as I feel there is more versatility with how the final image is used and replicated (can be printed on canvas/mugs/coasters etc). I aim to encapsulate the atmosphere of the occasion through my use of colour and fluid lines. I love creating artwork that touches the observer emotionally, as though the subject is communicating through their eyes!

The Experience
Description
I capture the moment you got married, drawn live as a digital portrait while your guests watch it come to life on a screen of their own.
I draw on a tablet with a second monitor turned to face your guests, so everyone can watch every line appear without crowding round. After your wedding, I refine your portrait in the studio and deliver it within five working days, along with a timelapse of it forming that’s perfect to set to your first dance song. Your files are print-ready at up to a metre, so your portrait can become a statement piece on your wall, or prints for the people you love: an investment in a moment you’ll return to for decades.
So how does it work?
Step 1: Set-up before your ceremony
I arrive around an hour before your ceremony to set up. All I need is a table and chair, a power outlet, and space for my equipment: a laptop, a tablet and two monitors, one for me and one turned to face your guests.
Step 2: Capturing your moment
There are three ways to capture your moment, whichever suits your day best:
- I take my own reference photos during your ceremony
- we do a quick mini photoshoot afterwards, with a backdrop you choose
- I work from a photo taken by your photographer
Step 3: Live drawing
I’m on site for up to six hours, drawing live while your guests watch your portrait develop. I’m always happy to chat as I work, since it’s something most people have never seen before.
Step 4: Studio polish and delivery
Your portrait takes several days to complete fully, so I finish it in the studio after your wedding and email your final files within five working days.
