Co-founder
Huw is a dynamic entrepreneur and the co-founder of TheWeddingPainters.com. Inspired by his sister's struggle to find a live wedding painter, Huw seized the opportunity to innovate and created a unique solution.
Alongside his co-founder, Jack, he brought the idea to life, determined to offer couples a memorable and personalised way to commemorate their love. As a co-founder, Huw wears many hats, including overseeing website design and Technical SEO strategy.

Jack is a passionate entrepreneur and the co-founder of TheWeddingPainters.com. With a keen eye for beauty and a deep appreciation for capturing cherished moments, Jack embarked on this journey to bridge the gap between couples and the unique and timeless art form of live wedding painting.
As the co-founder, Jack plays a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the business. With a background in customer service and a natural gift for communication, Jack serves as the Customer Service Manager, personally handling all client interactions with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.
The Wedding Painters Timeline
The Idea was Born
Our idea was born when our co-founder Huw noticed something he had never witnessed before at his sister's beautiful wedding: an artist painting the scene of the happy couple walking away from the church having just got married! After chatting with his sister, she explained how difficult it had been to find an artist who matched her style. An idea was born!
The Problem
After delving deeper into this conundrum, Huw mentioned this issue to his cousin, who happens to be an aspiring artist in North Wales. She solidified the idea as she explained how difficult it is for aspiring artists to make a living doing something they are passionate about as there are no dedicated platforms. Putting these two together now made it clear what the next steps were to fix this problem.
The Team
To turn this idea into a reality, a team would be required as it was too difficult a task to take on alone. Many tasks would have to be undertaken, such as building the website, performing market analysis, gathering information on weddings and artists' needs, and then finally putting this all together and spreading the word.
The Solution
Development began, starting with building the platform which artists who are looking for work within the wedding industry can use. A platform which allows them to showcase their portfolios and take bookings from couples looking to commission a live wedding painter. The idea had finally turned into a reality, and hopefully one that will be beneficial to two industries!
The Big Reveal - Spring 2023
After months of planning, recruiting and testing, the idea was finally ready to reveal. Our platform is now live, connecting talented wedding painters with couples across the UK and beyond. We're very excited about the future and would love for you to be a part of it.
The Big Upgrade – Autumn 2025
Since our Spring 2023 reveal, we've rebuilt The Wedding Painters from the ground up. Today, our next-gen platform is live and thriving—built to help artists win more bookings with less admin, and to give couples total confidence when they book.
Our Future
Our goal extends beyond becoming the largest community of wedding painters in the UK & USA; we aspire to be the largest community of wedding painters globally.
This means providing insightful content to a larger audience, across various cultures and countries, recruiting more artists and expanding our reach across multiple platforms. By continuously improving our platform we will be able to provide everlasting value to both the art and wedding worlds.
By offering talented artists a dedicated platform that specialises in wedding painting, we can provide opportunities they might not have discovered otherwise. This increases the number of artists with experience and expertise in wedding painting, giving couples a broader selection and ensuring that every couple can find their perfect artist.
