Live Wedding Painting on Canvas

Most live wedding paintings capture a likeness. Mine are built using techniques drawn from the Renaissance and Rococo masters — luminous, layered, and designed to hold a soft, almost ethereal glow.

My work has been exhibited at Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum in Bournemouth and published in Witches Magazine, and that same depth and authenticity runs through every wedding I paint. I work in oil, building up colour the way the old masters did, to create a piece that feels less like a record of your day and more like a glimpse into how it actually felt to be standing inside it.

That's an investment that holds its own as a genuine work of art — something that will sit beautifully in your home for the rest of your life, not just as a wedding memory, but as a piece in its own right.

How it works

Step 1 — Your scene (pre-wedding call)

We'll have a one-to-one chat before your wedding to decide the moment you want captured — vows, first kiss, first dance, a family scene, or anything else meaningful to you — and the size that suits the level of detail you're after.

Step 2 — Arrival and set-up

On the day, I arrive early, set up my easel, and begin painting your chosen wedding scene.

Step 3 — Live painting on the day

Your guests can come over, watch, and enjoy seeing the painting come to life — I'm a chatty, outgoing person, and always happy to talk through the process.

Step 4 — Studio finishing and delivery

After the wedding, I continue with extra painted details and touch-ups at my home studio. Your finished artwork is then shipped and delivered to you.

Packages

Sapphire — £990

16 × 20 inch oil painting on canvas and wood panel

Best for: a close-up of the couple with a minimalist background — an intimate piece that works beautifully in any room.

Ruby — £1,460

20 × 24 inch oil painting on canvas and wood panel

Best for: the couple with more wedding décor detail in the background — a fuller sense of the day around you.

Diamond — £1,890

24 × 30 inch oil painting on canvas and wood panel

Best for: a full, detailed view of the couple with extensive depiction of venue décor — a true scene rather than a portrait.

Platinum VIP — £2,560

30 × 40 inch grand-scale oil painting on canvas and wood panel

Best for: the most detailed facial features, intricate outfit detailing, and elaborate venue décor — a true centrepiece for your home.

What's included

Pre-wedding call to plan your scene and size

Live oil painting at your wedding, on canvas and wood panel

Extra painted details and touch-ups completed afterwards in the studio

Only the finest European oil paints and materials, on stretched canvas

Shipping and delivery included

To enquire, send your:

Wedding date · Venue or location · The moment you'd love captured

Chloe is based in Bath and available across the UK and for destination weddings.
