Fine Detail Guest Portraits by Rachel

Traditional wedding favors get left behind, tossed out, or forgotten within days — a hand-painted portrait is something your guests will actually want to take home and keep. I paint live, guest by guest, in watercolor, working through your cocktail hour and reception so every single person leaves with a one-of-a-kind piece, genuinely painted rather than a rushed sketch. My style is rooted in old-world elegance and fine detail, so what your guests walk away with feels less like a party favor and more like something worth framing.

You'll get your own portrait too — a larger keepsake piece, framed, that becomes the centerpiece of the whole collection. And every guest is painted, with no extra charge for anyone I don't get to on the night; any remaining portraits are finished afterward and mailed to you to pass along.

How it works

Step 1: Guest photography (cocktail hour)

Your guests are photographed as they arrive at cocktail hour, so every portrait is captured from the day itself.

Step 2: Live painting (reception)

I paint each guest individually in watercolor throughout your cocktail hour and reception, working from those photos in real time.

Step 3: Take-home portraits

Finished portraits are professionally packaged, ready for guests to collect and take home before the night ends.

Step 4: Completing the collection

Any portraits I don't finish on the night, I complete afterward in the studio and mail to you to pass along.

Step 5: Your keepsake portrait

You and your partner receive your own framed portrait as part of your package — the centerpiece of the collection.

Packages

The Gathering

FROM $2,500

Best for: intimate weddings with a guest list of up to 100

60–100 guests

Every guest painted individually in watercolor, no exceptions

The Celebration

FROM $2,875

Best for: mid-size celebrations with more guests to capture

100–130 guests

Extended painting time to comfortably cover a larger guest list

The Grand Affair

FROM $3,400

Best for: weddings where guest entertainment is a centerpiece of the night

130–160 guests

Built for larger celebrations, with every guest part of the experience

All packages include

A live watercolor portrait of every guest, painted individually throughout your cocktail hour and reception

Your own framed keepsake portrait as the centerpiece of the collection

Professional packaging for every guest portrait

Any unfinished portraits completed afterward and mailed to you

Guest entertainment throughout your celebration — no additional hourly fees

Optional add-ons

Weddings with more than 160 guests: available on request, quoted individually

To enquire

Send me your date, venue, and guest count, along with your preferred package, and I'll be in touch to confirm availability.

Rachel is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and available across the US for guest portrait experiences.
