<p>I've been an artist for as long as I can remember, trained professionally for five years, finishing with a first-class bachelor's degree and a distinction-level master's.</p><p>But what actually drew me to wedding illustration was love! Nothing makes me happier than watching two people find each other, and combining that with my art felt inevitable.</p><p>I illustrate live at weddings of every kind — traditional, cultural, eccentric, and everything between — bringing an inclusive eye to every couple, as a queer artist myself. I can't wait to work with you!</p><p><strong>How it works</strong></p><p><strong>Step 1 — Planning your coverage</strong></p><p>Once booked, we'll confirm timings, your guest count, and anyone you'd like prioritised — bridal party, close family, or any special requests.</p><p><strong>Step 2 — Arrival and set-up</strong></p><p>I usually arrive during your ceremony, so I can get set up and start photographing guests as they come out — ready to illustrate straight through the drinks reception, meal, and speeches.</p><p><strong>Step 3 — Quick photos, no queuing</strong></p><p>As guests come over, I take a quick reference photo so they can get straight back to enjoying the day. I work in fineliner and professional markers, giving each illustration a bold, colourful finish.</p><p><strong>Step 4 — Singles, pairs, and full bodies</strong></p><p>Guests can be illustrated as singles or pairs — full body on quality A5 card, or portrait style on A6. I can illustrate around 8–10 full body guests per hour, or 10–15 portraits per hour, so it's worth factoring that into your package choice.</p><p><strong>Step 5 — Collection</strong></p><p>Finished illustrations are available for guests to take home on the day — or you're welcome to keep them all yourself, entirely your call.</p><p><strong>Packages</strong></p><p>A beautiful A4 illustration of the wedding couple is included in all of my packages. This will be completed in my home studio after your wedding and sent to you free of charge after your big day.</p><p><strong>2 Hours — £479</strong></p><p><em>Available for venues in Harrogate, York, and Leeds only. Best for: a focused cocktail hour experience at a smaller, more intimate wedding.</em></p><p><strong>4 Hours — £719</strong></p><p><em>Best for: mid-sized weddings where you want broad coverage across the drinks reception and into the meal.</em></p><p><strong>6 Hours — £959</strong></p><p><em>Best for: larger weddings or couples who want every guest to have the chance to be illustrated — maximum coverage, maximum entertainment.</em></p><p><strong>What's included in all packages</strong></p><ul><li>A4 illustration of the couple completed in the studio after the wedding and posted to you free of charge!</li><li>Live guest illustration throughout your chosen session</li><li>Singles or pairs illustrated on quality A5 (full body) or A6 (portrait) card</li><li>Bold, colourful finish in fineliner and professional markers</li><li>Quick reference photos so guests don't need to pose or stand still</li><li>Wedding party and special requests prioritised, then first come first served</li></ul><p><strong>To enquire, send your:</strong></p><p>Wedding date · Venue or location · Approximate guest count · Package preference</p><p><em>Maddy is based in North Yorkshire and happy to travel as far as needed.
