3. On-the-Day Conduct

• 3.1 The Artist welcomes guest interaction and is happy to speak with guests who show interest in the work.
• 3.2 However, abuse, harassment, or interference with the Artist’s work will not be tolerated.
• 3.3 If such behaviour occurs, the Artist reserves the right to leave the event and complete the portrait in her studio. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

4. Working Arrangements

• 4.1 The Artist will liaise with the venue and photographer to determine a suitable working location.
• 4.2 During the ceremony, the Artist will be seated behind the officiant or celebrant, to capture a clear photo of the first kiss without encroaching on the service.
• 4.3 The Artist will ensure that her presence is discreet and respectful at all times.

5. Artistic Process and Delivery

• 5.1 Any work not completed at the venue will be finished in the Artist’s studio.
• 5.2 All artwork created on the wedding day will be returned to the studio for professional framing.
• 5.3 The Artist will either personally deliver the finished, framed portrait or ship it by post.
• 5.4 While the artwork will be securely packed, the Artist cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss during transit.

6. Travel Fees

• 6.1 Travel costs are included in the final quote for weddings within a 30-mile radius of Stourbridge.
• 6.2 For venues outside this area, an additional charge of 50p per mile (round trip) will be applied.
• 6.3 All travel-related fees will be included in the final agreed-upon quote.

7. Client Responsibilities

• 7.1 The Client is responsible for providing accurate information, including venue details and timelines.

8. Pricing and Quotes

• 8.1 The Artist reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.
• 8.2 Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
• 8.3 Once the deposit has been paid, the quoted price is locked and guaranteed for your event.

9. Artistic Integrity and Final Work

• 9.1 The Artist retains full creative control over the style and composition of the artwork, in line with her professional judgment.
• 9.2 Live portraiture is interpretative and subject to artistic expression; by booking, the Client acknowledges and accepts this.
• 9.3 The Artist may complete finishing details of the portrait in her studio after the wedding day if needed.

10. Intellectual Property and Usage

• 10.1 The Artist retains the copyright of all artwork created.
• 10.2 The Client may display the final artwork for personal use only.
• 10.3 The Artist reserves the right to use images of the artwork for portfolio, marketing, social media, and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Liability

• 11.1 The Artist is not liable for delays or disruptions caused by venue issues, extreme weather, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond her control.
• 11.2 In the event of damage to the artwork after delivery due to mishandling or poor storage by the Client or guests, the Artist is not responsible.
• 11.3 If the Artist is delayed due to circumstances outside of her control (such as traffic accidents or extreme weather), no refund will be issued. However, she will stay later at the venue to make up for the lost time wherever possible.
• 11.4 If the Artist is unable to capture a good photo of the first kiss, or if she arrives too late to witness the ceremony, the couple may be asked to recreate the kiss at a later time during the day, and the Artist will work from that photograph instead.

12. Agreement

• By paying the booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
