Welcome to my live wedding painting experience - where your love story becomes a work of art!

A live wedding painting is more than a beautiful keepsake. It’s a way to honour all the thought, care, and love poured into your celebration - while also preserving the energy, emotion, and fleeting moments as seen through the eyes of someone who was there with you, from your first kiss to your first dance.

When you choose me to paint your wedding, you’re not only choosing an experienced artist with a trained eye for storytelling and scene-building - but you’re also investing in a one-of-a-kind piece that will forever hold the spirit of your day, proudly displayed in your home and heart.

How I proceed:

1. I arrive early in the day, or as soon as the venue allows, to begin setting the scene. A plug socket close enough for a lamp is usually required. I carefully paint the background - laying the foundation for the moment that will soon unfold. This quiet, intentional time allows me to absorb the atmosphere and begin capturing the essence of your day.
2. As your celebration begins, I take reference photos of you in your chosen moment - perhaps your first kiss, your vows, or that magical first dance, and use this as a reference image for the painting. These help me bring accuracy and emotion to the final piece. Throughout the day, I continue painting live - letting the artwork bloom in real time as guests stop and watch your love story take shape on canvas.
3. Once the celebrations have drawn to a close, I’ll carefully take the painting back to my studio to complete. While much of the magic is captured live on the day, I dedicate a minimum of ten additional hours in the studio to refine the details and bring the scene fully to life. The timeline for completion varies depending on the complexity of the composition, but typically takes between two to three weeks. Once your painting is ready, I’m happy to hand-deliver it depending on your location, or you’re welcome to collect it at your convenience. Alternatively insured postage can be arranged.

Additional costs: If the wedding is outside of London or the UK, transport expenses (train /flight tickets) and overnight accommodation need to be provided. In addition, for more remote venues an assistance with transport from the nearest accessible point may also be needed.
