Live Wedding Painting by Maisy

I’m thrilled to offer a truly unique live wedding painting experience by creating a one-of-a-kind artwork on your wedding day that captures the joy, emotion, and atmosphere of your celebration on paper or canvas.

My approach starts with collaboration. Before your wedding, we’ll plan the setting, medium, style, and the key details that will bring your dream piece to life so your painting doesn’t just look like your day, it feels like it too.

So how does it work?

Step 1: Pre-wedding consultation (your vision + plan)

We’ll have a consultation to understand what you want to capture: the moment, the mood, the colours, and any meaningful details you’d love included.

If you’d like thank-you card guest portraits, please reach out at least 2 weeks before the wedding so these can be designed in advance.

Step 2: Arrival + set-up

On the day, I arrive early so I can set up smoothly and start at the right time:

• For watercolour or fine-liner work: 1 hour before the ceremony
• For acrylic paintings: 1–3 hours before, so I can begin painting the background once your décor is in place

Step 3: Capturing key moments + painting live

Throughout the day, I’ll take reference photographs of key moments between you and your partner, then use these to create a painting that captures the genuine emotion and ambience of the day. The artwork will focus on the couple (or an individual) in the setting you’ve envisioned.

Step 4: Studio refinement + delivery

After the wedding, I’ll take the artwork back to my studio for any final touches. I’ll send you progress photos and happily incorporate reasonable adjustments along the way. Your final piece is typically completed within 5–6 weeks (depending on size and any edits), and then we’ll arrange delivery.

• A4 fine-liner / watercolour / acrylic — £250 each (minimum of two)
• 30 × 40 cm acrylic canvas — £625
• 40 × 50 cm acrylic canvas — £930
• 40 × 60 cm acrylic canvas — £1080
• 50 × 60 cm acrylic canvas — £1310

Optional add-on

Time-lapse video of the painting process, edited to a song of your choice. This is a lovely keepsake that shows your artwork coming to life.

Additional costs & requirements

Travel expenses

• Coach/train ticket costs vary depending on location
• For remote venues, transport help from the nearest accessible point may be needed

Extended travel time

• £20 per hour for travel times exceeding 4 hours

Food & drink

• A modest fee of £30–£40 may be required if complimentary food isn’t provided

Overnight accommodation (if required)

• £40–£150 per night depending on location

Set-up needs

• Access to plug sockets (for lighting)
• A table and/or chair for paints and sketching supplies
