Description
If you love artwork that feels alive; expressive, painterly, and full of emotion, my commissions are designed for you.
I’ve always loved painting people, and I’ve been creating professional portrait commissions for a number of years. My style is bold and impressionistic: I use confident brushstrokes and rich, considered colour to capture the energy of a moment, with a strong likeness without aiming for a photo-realistic copy.
Each painting is created in mixed media, using a combination of acrylic paint, oil paint, and oil pastels to build depth, texture, and dynamic layering. The result is a contemporary portrait that feels warm, vibrant, and timeless, a wedding memory you’ll want on your wall and not just in a photo album.
So how does it work?
Step 1: Your Consultation
We’ll start with a quick consultation to talk through your wedding, your chosen photograph, and what you want the painting to feel like. This is where we’ll discuss composition, mood, colour, and any details that matter most to you.
Step 2: Choose your size + canvas
I offer commissions on canvas in a range of sizes, tailored to suit your space and the moment you’d like captured.
Step 3: Painting your piece
I’ll create your artwork using my layered mixed-media approach — building colour, texture, and movement so the final piece feels painterly and full of life.
Step 4: Your finished artwork
You’ll receive a carefully considered, one-of-a-kind painting on canvas, ready to hang or frame — made to be enjoyed for years to come.

Artist's Service Terms▼
Important: These are the artist's service-specific terms. The platform's Terms & Conditions always take precedence.
1. The Artwork
The Artist agrees to create an original hand-painted artwork based on wedding photographs supplied by the Client. The painting will be created in the Artist’s expressive portrait style and is an artistic interpretation rather than a photo-realistic reproduction.
2. Reference Material
The Client must supply clear, high-resolution photographs suitable for painting. The Artist is not responsible for inaccuracies resulting from poor quality reference images.
The Artist reserves the right to decline unsuitable images or request alternatives. The Client confirms they have permission to use and provide the supplied wedding photographs for the purpose of creating artwork.
3. Size & Medium
The artwork will be painted in mixed media on canvas at an agreed size.
4. Artistic Style & Interpretation
The Client understands that:
- The work will reflect the Artist’s expressive, painterly style
- Colours, brushwork and background may be adapted for artistic and aesthetic reasons
- The painting will not be an exact copy of the photograph
5. Approval Process
A progress image will be shared at a midway stage for general feedback only. Minor adjustments may be made at the Artist’s discretion.
The Artist does not offer unlimited revisions once the painting is complete. Requests for substantial changes may incur an additional fee.
Final artistic decisions remain with the Artist.
6. Timeframe
Estimated completion time: 12 weeks from receipt of deposit and approved reference images.
Completion times are approximate and may vary depending on workload.
7. Delivery
The finished painting will be shipped to the Client using a tracked courier once full payment has been received and the painting is dry and varnished.
The Artist is not responsible for delays caused by couriers.
