I paint in oils, live on your wedding day.

With a degree in Fine Art and experience exhibiting my paintings in galleries across the UK, I approach each wedding as an opportunity to create a work of art inspired by your celebration. Paying close attention to the small details that make each wedding unique, I capture your chosen moment, preserving it in a way that only a painting can.

How it works

Step 1 — Your consultation

Before the wedding, we'll talk through your day; the venue, the timeline, and the moment you want me to paint. I'll also coordinate with your photographer so we're working alongside each other rather than around each other.

Step 2 — Arrival and set-up

I arrive a couple of hours before the chosen moment which is enough time to scout the space, find the best position, and get everything set up without rushing.

Step 3 — The moment, captured

At the moment you've chosen; first kiss, vows, first dance, a portrait session, I take a series of careful reference photographs. These let me preserve the exact expressions, light, and detail while I continue painting as the rest of your day unfolds around me. Your guests can watch the painting develop throughout the reception.

Step 4 — Studio finishing and delivery

I take the painting back to my studio after the wedding to complete the final refinements including the detail and precision that oil painting allows for. Once finished, your painting is carefully packaged and delivered to you. Delivery is free within a 50mile radius,

Packages

40 × 50 cm — £850

Best for: a focused couple portrait or an intimate moment. A beautifully detailed piece that works in almost any room — bedroom, hallway, or study.

50 × 60 cm — £1,000

Best for: couples who want more room for the scene — a fuller composition with space for more of the venue or architectural detail alongside the couple.

60 × 80 cm — £1,350

Best for: a statement piece. The larger canvas allows for the full depth of the moment — rich detail, full figures, and the atmosphere of the room around you. A painting at this scale is made to be the centrepiece of a home.

• Pre-wedding consultation to plan your moment, composition, and scale
• Full live painting on the day (approx. 6–8 hours on site)

• Original oil painting on canvas, completed with studio finishing after the wedding
• Travel within a 50-mile radius of the Artist’s base location
• Delivery of the finished artwork within a 50-mile radius of the Artist’s base location.

Travel

Rowan is based in Hampshire and available across the UK and for destination weddings. Travel and delivery are included within 50 miles of her studio. For weddings further afield, any additional travel or shipping costs will be outlined in your quote.
